For your outdoor recreation take a relaxing canoe trip ( 1 or more days ) while paddling any of the Iowa rivers or lakes with your friends and family. You can stop and fish while canoeing any river or lake, then camp overnight along the beautiful scenic rivers or lakes of Iowa.

All trips should be figured at approximately 9 miles of river for every three to four hours of paddling time. This approximation will cover most scenarios. Paddling time can be shortened/lengthened by the frequency and length of stops, and high/low water conditions and it also depends on which river you are paddling.

Don't forget to take along your camera ( in a water proof bag ) in case you want to get a few pictures of the abundant wildlife that you may see as you lazily float down the river.

Canoe Rentals
(I need at least a 24 for hour notice for any rental) You can take the canoe/s anywhere you want inside the state of Iowa. (Must be off the water by Dark as the canoes have no running lights) Do not put a motor on any of Riverside Canoe Rental canoes as they are not licensed for a motor

Canoe Rental Rates and Deposit
Monday through Saturday - $30.00 per day per canoe.
Sunday - $30.00 per day per canoe but (arrangements need to be made ahead of time).
Deposit: All rentals must be secured by using a ( Visa, MasterCard only) / ATM or Credit Card. This will be necessary in order to cover the cost of any rental equipment that may be lost/stolen or damaged.

Canoe Rental Late Fees
Late Fee - There is a one hour late grace period. After 1 Hour of being late in the return of your rental there will be a late fee of $20.00 per hour, per canoe thereafter

Reservations

All reservations must be paid in full since other possible rentals will be turned down for that same day/time frame. We do not give refunds but offer a rescheduling of your canoe rental date/s instead.

Canoe Rental Season
Our regular season runs from May 1 to October 1. All rentals beyond these dates are subject to a no rescheduling policy. No rescheduling will be given for bad weather after the regular season closes. Supplied with every Rental!

Canoe Rental Accessories
Rent 2 - 5 canoes and I will throw in a trailer for free to haul them on. You must have a 4 prong connecter that works and a 1"7/8 ball to haul trailer. You must have full coverage Insurance to take small canoe hauler trailer.
Rent 6 - 10 canoes and I will throw in a trailer for free to haul them on. You must have a 4 prong connecter that works and a 2" ball to haul trailer. You must have full coverage Insurance to take 10 canoe hauler trailer.
1 - Life jacket per person
2 canoe paddles per canoe.
Canoe blocks and Straps that are needed for taking canoe/s on your own.
